Puffin Browser Pro App Reviews

This used to be the best browser but for a while now, it has declined significantly. No new updates and the last one was horrible. It is now gone from my iPad and will be using another one. Too bad...you had a good product! Id give you a Big O if I could but I cant so you get 1 star.

I am happy to use the puffin. I often isnt in my house, so I need such an app. when I d enjoy some games by my i phone or i pad. I hope this puffin app.would be better! 今迄 出来なかったスマホやタブレットでの Flash機能のあるゲームに参加出来る事は 画期的です。更に 改良して 素敵なアプリ になって下さい。

Dont work for iPad 2.All time white screen error..

After update to iOS 10 - problems with local characters on keyboard; cursor doing weird things (running like crazy, as if someone had an arrow pressed on a standard PC keyboard) and text gets multiplied when entered in a textarea... :-(

My iPhone 7+ benchmarks faster then this, yall need server upgrades.

Ive been using this app for years and the latest update was awful. It stopped and didnt work so many times! I had to restart the app again and again. Moreover, web translation is no longer available at some point, which is very disappointing. I wish I could go back to a previous version. Id also like to see my bookmark list at the very first sight, instead of most visited sites. Can you add the option for that?

Update: Also very good rendering desktop content especially to get access to full service from banking web sites. Perfect for my needs! Thank you! Great flash browser especially for viewing video, accessing web pages with flash content, and playing basic online games. I like the automatic flash feature(no extra steps or buttons to make it work), the video theater mode, and the snappy UI and thoughtful interface.

I have had issues with being able to choose my own home page with this paid version of puffin. It keeps coming up on google search engine. I have tried changing it to no avail. Google violates privacy issues and keeps sending ads based on my past searches imbedded into my search page even though I have cleared cache, history and cookies. I have sent several complaints to puffin to no avail. I cannot recommend this to anyone at this time.

What in the world happened after the last update? Now I cant even hear sound through this app! The only reason I use puffin is for videos, which used to work great, but now theyre all silent! A new update is desperately needed!!!

It would be great if it didnt reload a page just because I switch its space in my multi-tasking. Really annoying constantly having to reload stuff because of something very small, it makes it hard use this app productively if you are essentially locked into it.

Any time you switch out of the app and try and come back, the app is frozen, web pages dont respond until you restart the app. Also, please bring back the hidden status bars so they dont block the screen area. Please!!!!

This has been a good app for some time but when streaming anything like watching a movie or a game, the iPad lock screen comes up. You have to select "never" for that in order to stream something uninterrupted or you have to touch the screen on the iPad every several minutes or so. The frustrating part is that if you forget to switch back from "never", your iPad battery drains quickly because screen is on all the time. Cmon guys, there are lots of apps out there that prevent the iPad from going to sleep while being used. Surely, this is something you can implement.

Love it, Try it and you will be impressed. I recommend to friends, family, & pets. It is extremely fast, and I can play computer games from my phone!

Not sure what happened to my review.. but anyway. Devs stated the random connection loss was fixed in this release. But it still continues to occur just as frequently as before. Only thing Ive not encountered is the random freezes since this update(so thank you for that) Too long to rewrite my review. Short version, puffin used to be my most absolute favorite browser. But for a long time now, its been problematic. I cannot write pages or posts with it because it constantly loses connection and reloads the page, losing everything Ive written. (My connection is stable) Emailed support, they said they did something to address it. No different sadly. Im very disappointed in Puffin. I cannot say its a browser I can use that is reliable anymore. Not to mention it took away features in some past updates and never did add them back. Like the ability to manually bring a game pad on screen. Now its limited to just flash. There were some uses with manually bringing it up for certain pages. Watching anything media related on Puffin is a chore because of the frequent page reloads and losing your progress. Surprisingly downloading a file has no issue. I miss the old Puffin...

I have been using Puffin for a couple years now and have used their help option twice, in both cases received a prompt reply and solution.

The day Puffin can import bookmarks from Firefox is the day Ill start using Puffin, until then... Ciao! ?
