new update ruined it.

This release does not work with some cellular net and previous version was better that bypass the censorship and open blocked sites,unfurtunately this version has not this ability

I use this browser daily, pretty much for just one site that uses flash and this update has made it almost impossible to use the site. It was fine before. Unusable for me, but the free version works better, thats crazy. The ability to Paste from the clipboard is also either gone or terribly hidden now. Please fix this.

Ever since the update puffin has not been as good. The old version is much better than this current version. This new version crashes and is harder to use. The old version almost never crashed and was easy to use unlike this new one....

What led me to using this browser was that it wasnt like Safari... This version is horrible. Can we have an option to use the older version? It could be called it Puffin Classic. Im sure you had a better rating before this version. Id like to give no stars.

Addendum: had a few errors that i mailed to support, and they were seemingly instantly releasing a patch update, i do know others must have had issues but still, that was some fast actin ^_^ thats why puffin will stay my fav. (Orginal review below) There many improvements, downloading multiple items at once no longer has an extremely choppy lag, it seems to download more consistently, albeit sometimes slower, but smoother nonetheless. And i download (last night) 3g of music sample packs that i needed to delete for space before. The bad. Any things others have mentioned, but the biggest pain in the posterior is when i want to go forward on a page, when i have just pressed the go back arrow, it wouldnt let me go forward. And it has been crashing irregularly, without any cause, i was using the breaking news website checking on world events and it kept crashing, it seemed like it was over processing if that makes sense. And the average? Well there are MANY internet browsers, personally, even with the errors in my opinion this is still the best, even though some of the pain in the back end problems make me want to smash my iPad air2 against a wall with it being stupid with small things that it hadnt had problems with before. But it is a redesign, HOPEFULLY the devs will continue to refine the system, as other devs dont seem to give one excrement about updating their web browser apps, overall it feels like a good BETA at this stage still.

The new design is very sleek and modern. I really like it! browser is extremely fast and responsive. Flash support is awesome, I will only use this browser as my primary from now on.

I use this app almost every day! Its really handy and takes iPhones to the next level thanks again for such a great app.

[Edited to reflect 5.01 update] I want to love this like I did version 4... Theres no more touch method to highlight/copy/paste etc., now you have to use the virtual trackpad and custom keyboard buttons. I could live with that, except the virtual trackpad cant position the cursor correctly in editable text areas that scroll, and external keyboard arrow keys dont work.

Edit since new V5 update. A good start. Some settings and features have been returned along with some speed improvements with the interface. But still nowhere near as great as before the introduction of V5. I await further updates to reintroduce more of the features and settings that were taken away such as the gamepad no longer being available unless youre in a full screen flash mode. Not much else to say. Keep adding back what you took away. Also please bring back the old text selection. The way the first icon is placed makes it harder to see where youre moving the icon so it makes it difficult to see what youre selecting. Its annoying now that I cant select without having to redo it multiple times just to get everything exactly as I want it. Moved to 2 stars from 1. So apparently my review went missing on this app. I wonder why? Cant be bothered to redo my entire review. So heres the sum up. Used to be a great app. V5 ruined it by removing so many things. App crashes lots now for me. Tabs are stored in a temporary place. So when it crashes, I lose all my tabs. When I update to a new iOS version, I lose all my tabs. Because the phone clears that temporary section. No option to restore tabs either anymore in V5. Just does not work at all if a crash occurs or the temporary folder section gets cleared So in short.. Horrible update. Puffin is now my least favorite browser. Interface is awful. Lack of customization is awful. Lack of settings is awful. Dont know why my review was removed. There was nothing in it that could warrant it happening. Puffin is now Safari with flash support.

Improving every update, I love the new look to be honest, its runs smooth. This is best app so far in my opinion. Looking forward to more updates in the future...

Still no add-ons. No change in video quality. Previous update review: Why update if you make the app less user friendly? This browser no longer accepts add-ons and has fewer user options available. Any speed increase only exists with the Data Savings set in the default setting. Turning Data Savings off (for best video) leads to very slow downloads. The previous version of the app was much faster with its Data Savings set to off. Bad update!

The previous update was OK for the iPad, but is a massive step backwards for the iPhone. At the minimum, fullscreen mode needs to be implemented. With fewer sites using Flash these days, other features will be needed for this browser to be competitive. A hide-able scroll bar, and ad blocking would be good ones to add.

I love this app it does everything I want it do to but theres something thats missing and that is an adblocker, the ads on websites get really annoying and causes the app to crash

The new version removed many key features. One major omission makes it nearly impossible to play a Game I play that requires multiple taps periodically. Puffin no longer allows you to disable the "Double Click To Zoom" setting. Now when playing my game, the screen constantly enlarges and shrinks while trying to tap a button. Its completely unplayable unless I use in full screen which makes the game unreadable. Two other major functions that are now gone is copy/paste functionality. How could they forget this? Were in the 21st century and a browser developer forgets copy & paste functionality? Also, in full screen mode the "Touch Visual Effects" disappear...just incredible!

I can finally log into Scratch again! Keep up the good work!

Im shocked with the Speed and the Flash Support for Tablet, is really awesome, is there a Puffin Web browser for PC i would definitely paid for it, Great Job and keep doing a excelente Browser *10 star*

Flash player works better, and some ads are blocked now. However, hidden virus pops are still there, and It got me again. Yuck. On my iPad, I need to use several browsers for different purposes.
