Puffin Browser Pro App Reviews

I used this app all the time. I really liked it and have it on ipad and phone. But since the update I can no longer open the webmail I was using to download the pdfs I need. It used to ask me if I wanted to proceed. Said the connection wasnt secure or something. Now I no longer get that pop up. It just wont load squirrel mail at all. Sad. I was using it every day. Please put it back the way it was.

Update May 2016 Originally gave this one star and didnt recommend it. But now I do! Im not using it for sumo paint anymore which might make a difference. Im using it to play flash games on free game websites. Note: Im only playing room escape games, and some animated jigsaw puzzles. Not ones with a lot of fast movement. But now its great and I do recommend it. Also they keep updating it and making improvements.

Ever since the update I think people have disliked it cause of the simple things like, NOT BEING ABLE TO HIDE THE TASK BAR, and the the new design for the bookmark section. If these things were fixed, I believe that more people will enjoy the app a lot more. Other than that however the app is quite good.

Bring back the old windows view. Current windows tab sucks!!

Unless Im missing something why can I not scroll down to view the whole page? I need it for work and paid for the app but get nothing but frustrated when using the app. I should be able to scroll up and down, left and right whether looking at it in portrait or landscape. Fix it!

The tab organization is pure crap that its just as big as being on the tab and have to go left or right to switch tabs compare to the older smaller grid view. The menu layout colour shouldve been black instead of a white background otherwise I would be using Safari instead. The search engines button is in the way and should be in the settings then where the tabs at. Otherwise bring back the older black coloured layout if the new one is half done or maybe a personalize-able menu as a suggestion.

Ok so I open a track in Bandcamp to stream it, the music is playing and then I switch to another app and the music stops playing. This is one of the major problems I have with this app. Otherwise it is great and I like the font too.

Since the last update, when I go in my online bank, I can see my account but I cannot pay my bills because I receive a message telling me that my browser is not secure. I used to de my banking a lot with Puffin but I cant use it anymore.

Can play videos and do everything all the other browsers cant. Extremely fast!!!

The middle tab is now so wide when in vertical mode that you cannot hit the following or previous tab, you need to swipe and then hit a tab in order to open another one. I always have about 30 tabs opened and this makes browsing your webpages taking more time and manipulations. It be great if the size of the center tab be reduced in order to see at least 3 full tabs for easier browsing. Other than that, great app and I enjoy this new update.

I want my bookmarks back....these crappy icons tell you nothing about what one has saved in the bookmark....absolutely useless!!!(how to... Conversion of...) this tells you what about the bookmark???....Seriously?????

Total disappointment crashes every single time I use it on my iPad

With each update, since this app was drastically remade for the worse earlier this year, I keep hoping that its developers will bring back at least some of what was good about it. Thus far, my hopes have been dashed. Once, you could customize what sites would appear on your homepage. Now, this is relegated to "most visited;" you cant really add sites anymore - you can only remove them. There is much more that I could say, but at this point, the app is not worth it. Suffice to say that in my opinion, Puffin circa 2015 was pretty much THE king of the iOS browser heap; now, is is middlin to bottom.

i have a problem where the tabs keep disappearing after a few days?? And its, really starting to bug me. Please fix it, im not sure if its only happening to me or??

Halloween Icon is Offensive. Uninstalled until Respectable Icon Restored.

Did the latest upates and some nice changes appear to have been made... will use it more now.

I love the Halloween icon. But best of all is the browser itself. It opens everything. Easy to use. Stable. Love the tabs.

I have used this since it came out... But now its useless. Refreshes none stop. Emailed for help and got no help. This has been going on for months. Its clear they are not or cant fix it. Dont waste your money.
